A dream continued to resonate when in 2003 the United In Diversity was launched, a dream to bring a better and sustainable future together.
With the mission, "Building Trust For Our Common Future", UID Foundation facilitates tri-sector leaders to learn together, create and implement sustainable solutions to face complex and systemic challenges in Indonesia and the world.
In its 17 year journey, the Foundation, which is supported by Gajah Tunggal Group, immediately inaugurated the UID Bali Campus, in October 2022, to coincide with the THK forum and G20 events in Bali.
The choice of this location is not only because Bali is a prima donna of Indonesian tourist destinations that are well known throughout the world, but also because of the passion to participate in preserving the natural beauty, cultural excellence, and the real practice of Tri Hita Karana who currently lives on the island of the Gods.
For this reason, the UID Foundation chose the UID Bali Campus to be built on the island of Kura Kura Bali, Denpasar. An area that describes the taste of Bali as a whole.
The presence of this integrated creative campus aims to celebrate sustainable development and unite diversity.
As a forum that brings together the best educational, research and development institutions in the world, UID Bali Campus will be surrounded by a TechPark with an ecosystem of entrepreneurship and industrial development.
The building itself was designed by upholding the values of social, environmental and spiritual harmony (Tri Hita Karana). This is in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), so it is hoped that UID Bali Campus will be worthy as a global prototype of sustainable development and creative communities.
In order to develop an innovation center and human resources, UID Bali Campus invites world-leading innovation partners, both experts and leading institutions. The following institutions and activities are housed at UID Bali Campus:
1. U School Asia Pacific cooperates with the Presencing Institute.
2. UID Foundation with Executive Leadership Program, an Executive Education program in collaboration with MIT Sloan School Of Management. The first batch took place SINCE 2008 and is now entering the 7th batch (IDEAS Asia Pacific).
3. Tsinghua University Southeast Asia Center, a collaboration between UID Foundation and Tsinghua University China. Last year, we succeeded in organizing the first batch of Happy Digital X: System, Product and Service Professional education and various other events.
4. United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network for Southeast Asia, Tri Hita Karana Forum, and Global Blended Finance Alliance for Sustainable Development, and others.
