JAKARTA - Yayasan Upaya Indonesia Damai, also known as United In Diversity (UID), continues the distribution of medical mask assistance in an effort to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic. On Monday (29/06) as many as 50,000 medical masks were donated to Hospitals and Citizens at Jepara that received by Deputy Chair of the MPR-RI, Lestari Moerdijat in Jakarta.
This contribution is part of the millions of medical masks that have been and will be donated by the foundation which is co-founded by Gajah Tunggal Group to the Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling COVID-19, a number of local governments, the Indonesian Red Cross, TNI and Polri, as well to other communities.
Fifty thousand masks were intended to be distributed to hospitals, medical workers, and the public in an effort to deal with the COVID-19 outbreak. May this contribution be a form of strengthening social solidarity in participating in overcoming the coronavirus pandemic in Indonesia.
