Leadership Learning Development Program Introduction for South Sumatera Government



United in Diversity (UID), in collaboration with Paramadina University, has successfully conducted an introductory program of Learning Leadership Development Program (L2DP) for the Government of South Sumatra Province on 15-16 April 2016 in Palembang. The L2DP event in Palembang was opened by Mr. Alex Noerdin, The Governor of South Sumatra, who excitingly delivered the vision and mission of South Sumatra Province. He expected that South Sumatera Province could advance and compete internationally, hence he wished to see all levels of government officials could play an active role in the development of South Sumatra Province.

The involvement of UID and Paramadina University in the introductory programs of L2DP in South Sumatra cannot be separated from the role of Mr. Rear Admiral (Ret) Rosihan Arsyad who is a former Governor of South Sumatra and now is a member of UID's Board of Trustees. He perceives that L2DP is in line with the vision and mission of the Government of South Sumatra province in realizing prosperous, advanced and internationally competitive human resources which are not only based on natural resources but also professional and public service-oriented governance.

In this two-day workshop, UID and Paramadina University conveyed fundamental principles of the Innovative Leadership, Public Policy, Diplomacy, Learning Organization and Theory U which were delivered in an interesting and interactive learning dialogue, discussion and games.

This event was attended by approximately 50 people from the Regional Secretary, echelon 1 to echelon 2. This activity results an initiative to provide a deeper L2DP program that can generate a change initiative (prototype). This program will be then dedicated to all officers up to echelon 4.

Program Perkenalan Learning Leadership Development Program untuk Pemprov Sumatera Selatan
United In Diversity (UID) bekerjasama dengan Universitas Paramadina telah berhasil melaksanakan program perkenalan Learning Leadership Development Program (L2DP) bagi pejabat Pemerintah Provinsi Sumatera Selatan pada tgl 15-16 April 2016 yang lalu di Palembang. Acara L2DP ini dibuka oleh Bapak Alex Noerdin; Gubernur Sumatera Selatan dimana beliau menyampaikan visi dan misi Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Beliau berharap agar Sumatera Selatan bisa maju dan bersaing secara international, sehingga beliau mengharapkan bahwa seluruh jajaran pemerintahan dapat ikut berperan aktif dalam pembangunan Sumatera Selatan untuk mencapai visi dan misi tersebut.

Keterlibatan UID dan Universitas Paramadina dalam program perkenalan L2DP bagi Pemerintah Provinsi Sumatera Selatan ini tidak lepas dari peran serta Bapak Laksamana Muda TNI (Purn) Rosihan Arsyad yang merupakan mantan Gubernur Sumatera Selatan dan saat ini merupakan anggota Dewan Pembina dari UID. Beliau melihat L2DP sejalan dengan visi misi Pemerintah Provinsi Sumatera Selatan dalam mewujudkan sumber daya manusia yang sejahtera, lebih maju dan berdaya saing internasional yang tidak hanya berbasis sumber daya alam tetapi juga menciptakan tata kelola pemerintahan yang professional dan berorientasi pada pelayanan publik.

Dalam kegiatan workshop yang berlangsung selama 2 hari ini, UID dan Universitas Paramadina menyampaikan pembahasan mendasar mengenai Innovative Leadership, Public Policy, Diplomacy, Learning Organization dan Theory U yang dibawakan secara menarik dan interaktif lewat pemaparan, diskusi dan permainan.

Kegiatan ini diikuti kurang lebih oleh 50 orang mulai dari Sekretaris Daerah, pejabat eselon 1 sampai eselon 2. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah inisiatif untuk memberikan Program L2DP yang lebih mendalam hingga menghasilkan proyek perubahan (prototype), dimana program ini akan diperuntukkan bagi seluruh pejabat hingga eselon 4.
