PBSCF Navigating Indonesia Program: Exploring opportunities to uncover mutual development goals

Also in October, UID collaborated with Tsinghua People’s Bank of China School of Finance (PBCSF) to organize “Navigating Indonesia Program” from October 8th to October 13th 2018 in Bali and Jakarta. Navigating Indonesia Program was organized to provide an opportunity for participants to gain wisdom and share knowledge with experts from Indonesia and strengthen their understanding on the Indonesian economy, investment policies and regulations as well as culture and social heritage in relation to investment opportunities. Participants comprised of students of PBCSF, business leaders and decision makers, founders and investors aspiring to internationalize their businesses and companies.

The first 3 days of the program was held in Bali, where participants attended series of workshops, dialogues and lectures from prominent Indonesian figures such as Coordinating Minister of Maritime Affairs Luhut Panjaitan, Minister of Communications and Informatics Rudiantara as well as a lecture held by UID’s president, Mari Pangestu.

The program was continued in Jakarta from October 11th where the participants went on site visits to Tokopedia, Gojek, Kejora Ventures, Jakarta-Bandung Rapid Train Project, Mitra Adiperkasa (MAP), Sampoerna as well as a visit to the Chinese Embassy.
